Christina, Office Manager
Meet Christina, the dedicated office manager of Ballwin Dental Care. With over 30 years of experience in the dental field, she expertly ensures that our practice functions like a well-oiled machine, delivering exquisite patient care. Beyond the office, Christina finds joy in spending time with her loving husband and four kids. Her passion extends to her four-legged companions as well, showcasing her nurturing spirit. With a wealth of dental expertise and a heart full of compassion, Christina is the backbone of our dental practice, making every patient’s experience exceptional.
Our Clinical Team
Nicholas, Clinical Director
For the past seven years, Nicholas has been helping patients feel confident in their smiles. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Lindenwood University in 2023 before continuing his education at George Washington University, where he completed his Master’s in Public Health in Epidemiology. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate at George Washington University.
Nicholas is passionate about dentistry and dedicated to helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their dental health. He takes pride in creating a welcoming environment where patients truly feel at home at BDC.
Outside of the office, you can find Nicholas hiking, running, spending time on the water, or out enjoying a ride in his Jeep.
Dental Assistants
Our dental assistants, led by Nicholas, provide you with the very best in personal care and attention. Our practice motto is, “We are genuinely concerned about the comfort and dental health of our patients”, and our assistants strive to exceed our patients’ expectations on every visit. As the leader, Nicholas ensures his team is courteous and up to speed on the latest dental techniques and procedures, enabling them to do an excellent job assisting our doctors.
Dental Hygienists
We have six highly experienced hygienists at Ballwin Dental Care who will help you understand how to achieve a healthy mouth, why it’s important, and how it relates to your general health. Continuing education is very important to our office, and especially our hygienists, so much so that they all exceed the requirements of the state of Missouri for maintaining their licenses. They will provide you with a gentle but thorough cleaning and teach you how to be a partner in your own health.
Debbie, Team Leader
Debbie graduated in 2000 from Forest Park Community College with a degree in dental hygiene. In addition to working in general dentistry, Debbie has experience working in a periodontal office (which specializes in the treatment of gum disease). She has been with Ballwin Dental Care since 2013, and when not working, she spends her time with her husband and two boys (who occupy 100% of her free time). She loves biking, hiking, going to the lake – basically anything outdoors – and she loves to bake.
Our Administrative Team
Prema, Administrative Director
Prema started her career in dentistry over 10 years ago as a Certified Dentist in India. She uses her dental knowledge to provide comfort and understanding to her patients. She also uses that knowledge to bring deep expertise to her team. When she is not working, she spends time trying new foods and parks with her husband. Prema speaks multiple languages, including English, Hindi, and Tamil, as well as other Indian languages. She loves using them to make sure all our patients feel safe and at home at BDC.
Treatment Coordinator Team
Our treatment coordinators are the financial safety net for our practice. If you have any questions around payment, insurance, or how you can plan any difficult-to-manage finances, this team is here to get you taken care of. Because she leads the team, Prema goes through regular training with all the treatment coordinators and ensures a high standard of quality. Both in their ability to help patients and in their ability to understand them.
Scheduling and Check-In Team
The very first people you come in contact with at BDC, our scheduling and check-in teams, do whatever they can to make you feel welcome. From their regular certifications to ensure high-quality calls to the warmth they deliver at the front desk, these teams do not disappoint. We want you to feel right at home here at BDC, and these two teams will make that obvious. Feel free to call even if you have a particular or busy schedule; they’ll work with you to book far enough in advance to accommodate. Feel free to let the front desk know you’re cold, need something to keep your kids busy, or would love some calm silence. They’ll bring you a comfort menu and make sure you have what you need.
